How much notice do you need to give when ordering a cake?
Please try to order your cake as early as possible to avoid disappointment. All our cakes are freshly made to order but we do ask for a minimum 3-4 days’ notice on all products available on the website. If you require a cake at short notice, please call us on 07809 433 505 or send and email to info.mycakehouse@gmail.com and we'll always do our best to help. Availability will depend on access to the required products to make your cake, complexity of your requirements, volume of other orders etc.
For bespoke cakes, the more notice given the better. All cakes are individually handmade to your specific requirements. Novelty cakes and most custom cakes require AT LEAST THREE WEEKS NOTICE PLEASE.
Can I personalise my cake?
Yes of course. Your cake will be personalised to your requirements from cake flavour through to icing colour and of course design. We will take the details over the phone or via the online enquiry form. These details will be confirmed either by phone or email. You can email us with a picture showing how you'd like your cake to look. If you require a message, we will use our discretion as to whether the message appears on the cake or the board.

How do I confirm my order for bespoke cakes?

Please complete the enquiry form with as much detail as possible and we will endeavour to respond to your enquiry within 24 hours. Once a price is agreed a holding deposit must be paid to confirm the booking. We will provide you with the details to make payment by Cash, PayPal, Cheque or BACS (Bank Transfer). For more details please refer to our Terms & Conditions page.
Are there any delivery charges?
Delivery rates are outlined in the ‘DELIVERY’ section of the website for your information. For distances over 30 miles from Enfield, please contact me to discuss. Travel outside of London – yes calculated at 45 pence per mile from Enfield EN3 using AA mileage calculator.
I cannot see the cake I’d like in your product selection list, can I send you a picture of what I want?

You are more than welcome to email us with a picture of your requirements to info@mycakehouse.co.uk and we can then discuss in more detail so you are happy with your design.
Do you offer discounts for large orders?

All prices will depend on the volume, size, detail, and amount of work needed to create your very special cake.

Do you cater for corporate events, weddings and special occasions?

Do you cater for those requiring gluten free products?

Yes we can. Please note that My Cake House does not consider itself a 'free-from' home bakery and has no control over the production of ingredients used within the baking process, so guarantees cannot be given for those with specific allergies and dietary requirements. Our products are prepared in a kitchen where other ingredients are handled for baking.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We offer delivery in and around North London. Standard delivery prices include hand-delivery to lucky recipients within 3 miles of BLAH BLAH BLAH. For locations further afield we recommend using Addison Lee parcel cars or van drivers, though prices outside of London are expensive.
